An absolute nothing burger of a film. An ET movie in 2026 ought to try to do something new or different, but this one does nothing. It takes itself so seriously that it just feels silly. It’s even sillier how many shots there are of people reacting to how serious the things happening in the movie are, as if the movie is trying really hard to make you care, too. I didn’t.

This starts like a generic romcom but soon evolves into something really fun! It’s so well put together, weaving real issues with comedy and great acting by Pattinson especially. I had a great time!

Pretty good and emotional movie, with amazing performances too. I really need to say that the baby is an incredible actor, seriously. I have no idea how they made the baby act, but they did.

This movie is such a fun time! It’s like a train-wreck that you can’t look away from. My wife and I laughed out loudly so many times, and there’s a lot to dig into if you peek at the details.

This is a good one. A high quality psychological thriller that grips your attention right from the start and sticks with you after it ends. Amazing use of color, too!

One of the best (if not THE best) horror movies I’ve ever seen! Nikki is probably the most terrifying character I’ve seen in a movie, and so much of it is due to Inde’s acting and the amazing sound design.

This is Curry Barker’s first movie and I can’t wait for the next ones.

There is no way a movie with this concept would be good, but I gotta praise that this movie isn’t afraid of being weird, and went in a totally different direction than I expected a bad horror-ish movie to go.

Holy shit, this is so good. The story, the scenes, the music, everything. One of my favorites ever.

This movie is basically the first one but adapted to more modern concepts (social media, late stage capitalism). And honestly, that’s fine. It does better than probably most other unnecessary sequels do, and it was an enjoyable watch from start to finish. Bonus points for having Gaga in it.

It was cool to watch the Milan scenes while literally being in Milan, too.

Robert Eggers knows just how to transport you into not only a different time, but into all the brutality and supernatural aspects of its folklore. What a great movie, even if (thankfully) all the masculine energy it exhales is not my cup of tea.

A classic is a classic for a reason. Andy’s friends are a pain in the butt though, she’d be better off without them 😅

Fantastic. Incredible. The soundtrack alone would make any movie good, but pair with amazing visuals and an incredibly interesting story? Heck yeah!

There’s a bunch of good sci-fi movies out there, but very few that lean so much into the “sci” part of it. Everything that happens in the movie feels believable* even if they’re completely alien to us (it is a space movie, after all), and there’s a pretty good story in there too. If you liked The Martian or Interstellar, you’re gonna love this one.

_{*except for the idea of humanity working together to save itself, which is obviously never gonna happen.}

A very interesting premise in the beginning, very interesting characters in the middle, and an ending that stuck the landing. What else could you ask for? It doesn’t try to be anything more than what it is: a good movie. Wish more movies were like that.

There’s a great movie in here but I feel the pacing is really off. Each act takes waaaay too long to get going, and by the time they got there I was tired of it already, and ended up not caring as much. Good ending though.

While the movie takes its time to get going, it is so well worth it. It keeps reinventing itself every few minutes and just keeps getting better and better.

The soundtrack, though, is just on another level. It is so good. One particular scene is gonna stick in my mind for a while, it was freaking amazing. If you watched it, you know which one it is.

Gosh I loved this movie. A thriller that managed to make me both really tense and laugh out loud in the same scene without any of these reactions contradicting each other. It’s absolutely ridiculous in the best way.
