It's meant to highlight the stuff in my life I'm currently in contact with, in any way. If anything, it dictates the context behind other stuff I might post here ;)

This page is ephemeral and (ideally) will be updated often, just like life itself.

What I've been up to

  • I've recently launched version 6 of this website and Carousel Pilot, two projects that were in my mind for a while. I'm also maintaining iPhanpy with monthly-ish updates.
  • My wife and I are slowly exploring the area around our new home in Lecco, Italy. So many cool things to discover!
  • I just started swimming again, after exactly 10 months of not doing it (since my move). I still got the hang of it but my stamina is not the same lol
  • I'm also constantly journaling in Obsidian, and even built some automations around it for weekly overviews, mood dashboard, useless but fun stuff like that.

Watching

  • The Sopranos — watching through the last season right now.
  • South Park — I didn't watch this much in the past, but recently watched all seasons and am in the middle of a rewatch. Definitely has its ups and downs but it's a pretty funny show.

Playing

  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (PS5) — just started but already loving it.
  • EA FC 26 (PS5) — this game sucks but I just love the fantasy of the Player Career mode. I play it mostly as an RPG of sorts. It's also way easier to play in shorter sessions, so I play it whenever I don't have enough time to play BG3.
  • World of Warcraft Classic (Mac) — I didn't like the latest expansion, but Azeroth is still like a second home to me, so I sometimes fire this one up to relax for a bit. Exploration was at its peak back then. Currently leveling a Dwarf Hunter.

Listening

Reading

I was never too much into reading books, but I've started reading before bed as a way to wind down the brain at night. Currently reading 1984, one of the classics.
